Taxonomy
Fungivorites indistinctus was named by Rohdendorf (1946). Its type specimen is PIN 2335/31, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2335), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
