Anthribites cretaceus
Taxonomy
Anthribites cretaceus was named by Zherikhin (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 3800/1209, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Khetana River, outcrop 2/19 (PIN collection 3800), which is in a Coniacian lacustrine mudstone in the Amka Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Cretanthribus cretaceus by Legalov (2009), Legalov (2010), Legalov (2012), Legalov (2015).
