Taxonomy
Parakhosara incommoda was named by Storozhenko (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 1631/220, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Khal'meryuskoye, borehole KhK-364, depth 125.5 m, which is in a Kungurian terrestrial horizon in the Lek-Vorkuta Formation of the Russian Federation.
