Chironomaptera karabonica
Taxonomy
Chironomaptera karabonica was named by Kalugina (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 1847/283, a nymph (pupa), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karabon Creek, Nerchinskiy Zavod district (PIN collection 1847), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Gidarinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
