Doggeria bucklandi
Taxonomy
Buprestis bucklandi was named by Mantell (1844). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is 8 km north-east of Witney, near the village of Stonesfield (Brodie Coll), which is in a Bathonian marine shale in the Taunton Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Doggeria bucklandi by Handlirsch (1906).
