Blattapterix gansu
Taxonomy
Blattapterix gansu was named by Vršanský (2003). Its type specimen is NIGPAS "Protelytroptera", an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is 5km N from Shenjiawan village, near Changma town, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Xiagou Formation of China. It is the type species of Blattapterix.
