Petropterix mirabilis
Taxonomy
Petropterix mirabilis was named by Vršanský (2003). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/5783, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559, outcrop 188/8), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia.
