Coleopteron striatus
Taxonomy
Geophilus striata was named by Oppenheim (1888). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Solnhofen (BSPGM Munich coll), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Coleopteron striatus by Handlirsch (1906).
