Nannogomphus bavaricus
Taxonomy
Nannogomphus bavaricus was named by Handlirsch (1906). Its type specimen is NHMW 1985/3/1 (1898/7/11), a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Eichstätt, Solnhofen (Naturhistorischen Museum Wien collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.
