Denaeaspis chelonopsis
Taxonomy
Denaeaspis chelonopsis was named by Chaboo and Engel (2009). Its type specimen is USNM 58373, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Denson site, locality 42053 (Denson intermediate), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Green River Formation of Colorado.
