Nymphites lithographicus
Taxonomy
Nymphites lithographicus was named by Handlirsch (1906). Its type specimen is NHMW 1985/9, an exoskeleton (poorly preserved), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Eichstätt, Solnhofen (Naturhistorischen Museum Wien collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.
