Archaemioptera carbonaria
Taxonomy
Archaemioptera carbonaria was named by Guthörl (1939). Its type specimen is Bergschule Saarbrucken D/190, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Sellerbach near Heusweiler-Saar, which is in a Stephanian fluvial-lacustrine shale in the Ottweiler Schichten Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Archaemioptera.
