Psathyromyia (Forattiniella) schleei

Taxonomy
Lutzomyia (Trichopygomyia) schleei was named by Peñalver and Grimaldi (2006). Its type specimen is SMNS Do-5514-M, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (SMNS coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

It was recombined as Psathyromyia (Forattiniella) schleei by Andrade Filho et al. (2009).
