Cyttaromyia obdurescens
Taxonomy
Cyttaromyia obdurescens was named by Cockerell (1925). Its type specimen is AMNH 26284, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Roan Mountains (station 11), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite in the Green River Formation of Colorado.
