Taxonomy
Frirenia musicata was named by Fedotova and Perkovsky (2009). Its type specimen is BMB 44, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (Booth Museum BMB coll), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
