Taxonomy
Huaxiacinectus xinyaoensis was named by Hong (1995). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Cx1, Xiangfanggou, Xinyao, Chongxin County, which is in a Hauterivian fluvial-lacustrine siltstone in the Huachi-Huanhe Formation of China.
