Taxonomy
Statira was named by Lepeletier and Audinet-Serville (1845). It is extant. It is the type genus of Statyrites.
It was assigned to Lagriini by Doyen and Poinar (1994), Kirejtshuk et al. (2008) and Nabozhenko (2019); and to Statirina by Bousquet et al. (2018), Telnov et al. (2019), Bouchard et al. (2021) and Aalbu et al. (2023).
