Cratomyia macrorrhyncha
Taxonomy
Cratomyia macrorrhyncha was named by Mazzarolo and Amorim (2000). Its type specimen is MZUSP DBRP-0050, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato, Tatajuba farm, Araripe Basin, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large limestone in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Cratomyia.
