Taxonomy
Asindulum elegantulus was named by Meunier (1904). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Konigsberg collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.

It was corrected as Asindulum elegantulum by Evenhuis (1994) and Evenhuis (2006).
