Leptomorphus palaeospilus
Taxonomy
Diomonus palaeospilus was named by Cockerell (1921). Its type specimen is USNM 66570, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is USGS 17-6, which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Colorado.
It was recombined as Leptomorphus palaeospilus by Evenhuis (1994), Oliveira and Amorim (2021).
