Taxonomy
Anepsius planipidius was named by Meunier (1907). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Konigsberg collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was corrected as Anepsius planipedius by Meunier (1908), Meunier (1908); it was recombined as Anepsiomyia planipedia by Evenhuis (1994); it was recombined as Palaeoargyra planipedia by Grichanov (2023).
