Taxonomy
Corticarina palaeoparvula was named by Reike (2012). Its type specimen is Reike 06, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Reike collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
