Sasayamamylos kawaii
Taxonomy
Sasayamamylos kawaii was named by Kusuhashi et al. (2013). Its type specimen is MNHAH D1-030444, a mandible (Right dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Miyada microvertebrate site (Sasayama), which is in an Albian terrestrial siltstone in the Ohyamashimo Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Sasayamamylos.
