Taxonomy

Sooblatta boltoniana was named by Schneider (1983). It is an impression.

Synonyms

Orthomylacris lanceolata was named by Bolton (1911). Its type specimen is MPG 24511, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Clydach Merthyr Colliery, roof of Graigola Seam, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial shale in the Pennant Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Stenomylacris lanceolata by Handlirsch (1920), Handlirsch (1922); it was recombined as Quasimylacris lanceolata by Durden (1984); it was replaced with Sooblatta boltoniana by Schneider (1983), Jarzembowski and Schneider (2007).
