Taxonomy

Pseudoperla was named by Pictet (1854). Its type is Pseudoperla gracilipes.

It was assigned to Phasmoidea by Handlirsch (1907); to Archipseudophasmatini by Zompro (2001), Zompro (2004) and Zompro (2011); and to Archipseudophasmatidae by Chen et al. (2019).
