Taxonomy
Alleremonomus was named by Ren and Guo (1995). It is not extant. Its type is Alleremonomus xingi.
It was assigned to Eremochaetinae by Nagatomi and Yang (1998), Zhang (2014); and to Eremochaetidae by Ren and Guo (1995), Grimaldi and Barden (2016).

D. Ren and Z. Guo 1995 | head transversely elongate. Eyes large , not bulging. Costa not continuing beyond the tip of R,. R2+3 originating from the basal Rs before M meeting Rs and coalescing with R shortly after originating of Rs. R4+5 forked early. R4 short, terminating at the end of R,. Rs long, reaching wing tip. M with 4 branches. Cell d lies above the centre of wing. Cell m3 oblong transversely and closed. MI not curving forward and ending behind wing tip. Crossvein m-m obviously longer than MB. Between the radius and the media there is a spurious vein (sv). CuA long, joining 1A far from wing margin, not at acute angle. 1A straight. Wing with 7 closed cells. Cell CUP as long as cell bm. Wing rounded apically. |
