Taxonomy
Bryanka elegans was named by Kovalev (1985). Its type specimen is PIN 2364/1(2), an exoskeleton (female), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Koltygei (PIN collection 2364), which is in an Oxfordian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Ichetuy Formation of the Russian Federation.
