Parastylotermes washingtonensis
Taxonomy
Stylotermes washingtonensis was named by Snyder (1931). Its type specimen is MCZ 2943, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Near Spokane, which is in a Langhian lacustrine - small mudstone in the Latah Formation of Washington.
It was recombined as Parastylotermes washingtonensis by Snyder (1949), Pierce (1958), Nel and Paicheler (1993), Fontes and Vulcano (1998) and Krishna et al. (2013).
