Taxonomy

Hahniidae was named by Bertkau (1878). It is extant.

It was assigned to Dictynoidea by Dunlop et al. (2013); and to Entelegynae by Wheeler et al. (2017).

Synonyms

Tegenaria obscura was named by Koch and Berendt (1854). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Dunlop et al. (2013).
