Strotarchus paradoxus
Taxonomy
Mimeutychurus paradoxus was named by Petrunkevitch (1963). Its type specimen is UCMP 12726, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is UCMP B-4116, Palo Blanco mine, which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Mexico.
It was recombined as Strotarchus paradoxus by Dunlop et al. (2013), García-Villafuerte and Ibarra-Núñez (2023).
