Ptenidium kishenehnicum
Taxonomy
Ptenidium kishenehnicum was named by Shockley and Greenwalt (2013). Its type specimen is USNM 545816, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Spring site, Middle Fork Flathead River (Kishenehn), which is in a Lutetian lacustrine - large shale in the Kishenehn Formation of Montana.
