Gomphaeschna schrankii
Taxonomy
Gomphaeschna schrankii was named by Lewis (1988). Its type specimen is Science Museum of Minnesota, a forewing (incomplete forewing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Wannagan Creek Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian mire/swamp shale/shale in the Bullion Creek Formation of North Dakota.
