Stephanopsis mirandus
Taxonomy
Glaphyrokoris mirandus was named by Richardson (1956). Its type specimen is FMNH PE977, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kavanaugh Road strip mine, which is in a Westphalian D interdistributary bay mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois.
It was recombined as Stephanopsis mirandus by Hörnschemeyer and Stapf (2001).
