Taxonomy
Orchestina parisiensis was named by Penney (2007). Its type specimen is PA 759, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Oise amber, Le Quesnoy, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial amber in the Argiles d'lignite du Soissonnais Formation of France.
It was recombined as Orchestina (Gallorchestina) parisiensis by Dunlop et al. (2013).
