Taxonomy
Buprestis minnae was named by Giebel (1856). It is an impression. Its type locality is Schwarze Minna pit, Eisleben, which is in a Chattian terrestrial claystone in Germany.
It was recombined as Perotis minnae by Pongrácz (1935); it was recombined as Buprestites minnae by Giebel (1856), Handlirsch (1907), Haupt (1950), Bellamy (2008).
