Taxonomy
Succinero rovnoensis was named by Wunderlich (2004). Its type specimen is SIZK UA-1705b, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Rovno Amber, Ukryantar factory material (SIZK UA collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Ukraine.
It was recombined as Ero rovnoensis by Harms and Dunlop (2009).
