Taxonomy
Spatiator caulis was named by Wunderlich (2008). Its type specimen is GZUG BST 06174 and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Göttingen GZG collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
