Taxonomy
Nactodipoena dunbari was named by Petrunkevitch (1942). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (YPM collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Lasaeola dunbari by Marusik and Penney (2004); it was recombined as Lasaeola (Nactodipoena) dunbari by Wunderlich (2008), Dunlop et al. (2013).
