Taxonomy
Eorpa elverumi was named by Archibald et al. (2013). Its type specimen is SRUI 08-07-07a,b, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Republic, locality B4131, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Klondike Mountain Formation of Washington.
