Taxonomy
Gasophlebia taianensis was named by Lin (1982). Its type specimen is NIGP 52146, a nymph, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Dawenkou, Tai'an, which is in a Paleogene terrestrial siliciclastic in China. It is the type species of Gasophlebia.
