Taxonomy
Palpiraptor myrmarachnoides was named by Wunderlich (2011). Its type specimen is F2224/CM/AR/CJW and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Madagascar copal (Wunderlich collection), which is in a Holocene terrestrial amber in Madagascar. It is the type species of Palpiraptor.
