Taxonomy
Abliguritor plumosus was named by Petrunkevitch (1950). Its type specimen is MCZ 7624 and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber (MCZ collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Ablator plumosus by Dunlop et al. (2013).
