Batrachomimus pastosbonensis
Taxonomy
Batrachomimus pastosbonensis was named by Montefeltro et al. (2013). Its type specimen is LPRP/USP-0617 (Partial skull & mandibles, and disarticulated elements of the body armor and limbs) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Altamira Creek, which is in an Oxfordian/Kimmeridgian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Pastos Bons Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Batrachomimus.
