Whiteia woodwardi
Taxonomy
Whiteia woodwardi was named by Moy-Thomas (1935). Its type specimen is BMNH P17200-1, a partial skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Ambarakaraka and Andogozobé (BMNH collection), which is in a Dienerian marine horizon in Madagascar.
