Taxonomy
Ficophyllum palustris was named by Cantrill (1996). It is not extant. Its type locality is Site KG. 4747, Coal Nunatak, Alexander Island, which is in an Albian/Cretaceous mire/swamp siltstone in the Neptune Glacier Formation of Antarctica.
