Blattotermes neoxenus
Taxonomy
Blattotermes neoxenus was named by Riek (1952). Its type specimen is UQ F10431, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Clay pits, Dinmore (UQ collection), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - small mudstone in the Redbank Plains Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Blattotermes.
