Hodotermopsis iwatensis
Taxonomy
Hodotermopsis iwatensis was named by Fujiyama (1983). Its type specimen is IPM 20599, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Masuzawa, Shizukuishi, Iwate Prefecture, which is in a Miocene lacustrine siliciclastic in the Masuzawa Formation of Japan.
