Reticulitermes pliozaenicus
Taxonomy
Reticulitermes pliozaenicus was named by Weidner (1971). Its type specimen is GZG 52-19127, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Willershausen clay pit (GZG collection), which is in a Piacenzian pond marl in Germany.
