Taxonomy
Lutetiatermes prisca was named by Schlüter (1989). Its type specimen is PIFU Is Ce Bex 1ab, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Bezonnais (Ecommoy) amber, which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in France. It is the type species of Lutetiatermes.
