Taxonomy
Supella (Nemosupella) miocenica was named by Vršanský et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MUCAS-001, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Mexican amber, Los Pocitos (MACH collection), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Mexico.
